New Balance Continues To Announce New Colorways of Its 1906L
This “Black/Silver” iteration may be its boldest one yet.
The New Balance 1906 Loafer is officially the gift that keeps on giving. It’s now been one year since the divisive silhouette made its runway debut with Junya Watanabe MAN and since then, we’ve had a multitude of launches and new colorway announcements. Most recently, the footwear pioneers announced a “Dark Juniper” colorway, followed by the news of a “Silver Metallic” iteration just last week.
Now, a third colorway has made its debut, dubbed “Black/Silver.” Crafted with the classic mesh base in black, the loafer is dressed with “Silver Metallic” accents across the synthetic overlays and NB branding, along with the 1906 heel cage. Designed with a black and gray ABZORB-backed sole unit, the flashy silhouette blends timeless black with bright hits of silver.
At present, it’s unclear as to when the “Black/Silver” colorway will launch, but given the influx of colorway announcements over the last few weeks, we expect that New Balance won’t keep us waiting too long. When it does land, it’s likely to be priced at $160 USD, in line with previous launches.
