Lily-Rose Depp Was "Petrified" By Her Dad, Edward Scissorhands

“I remember being petrified… I was traumatized.”

On her Nosferatu press run, Lily-Rose Depp reveals in an interview that her father’s most notable thriller wasn’t her favorite.

As you may have just figured out, Rose-Depp’s father is American actor and musician Johnny Depp, known for Pirates of the Caribbean, Edward Scissorhands and more. In a new interview, she reveals that her father’s role in Edward Scissorhands “traumatized” her.

“I was traumatized by it,” she told the interviewer. “Not because I thought he was scary,” she warned… “but because everyone was being so mean to him and I got really upset.” Specifically, when Edward is turned on by the townspeople. According to the actor, she took it very personal. The scene was so traumatic for her, she never viewed the film again.

“I remember being petrified by that, which is weird, because I don’t have many memories from when I was that young… It’s a difficult childhood memory.”

For many, this may come as a shock as the actor has held notable roles. From The Idol to Nosferatu, Rose-Depp has far beat the nepo baby claims. However, she’s warmed up to the idea of thrillers, overall, she said. Jokingly, she refers to her latest film Nosferatu and Hollywood. ”Edward’s the good guy and Nosferatu’s kind of the bad guy, but there’s a part of me that feels a little bit of empathy for Nosferatu. I mean, am I sick for feeling that way?”

In other news, Bad Bunny drops a short film. Elsewhere, hypebeasts are dabbling in the “No Buy 2025” trend.
