Snif's New "Me" Fragrance Smells Like You, Only Better

The brand’s founders share their innovative approach to blending scent with your body’s natural chemistry.

Innovation-first fragrance brand Snif is venturing into new territory with its latest launch, “Me” — a skin scent designed to adapt to your body’s natural chemistry.

Crafted with notes of plum, white moss, orris, sandalwood and musk, “Me” features peach skin as its star ingredient. Known for its soft, velvety texture, peach skin closely mimics the natural feel of the dermis, making it the perfect base for a scent that enhances your unique essence. The subtle, sensual fruit adds warmth and depth, creating a perfume that feels deeply personal and intimately connected to you.

Below, Snif’s founders tell us more about the skin scent category and why “Me” is the fragrance that brings out your best self.

On how “Me” mirrors the skin’s unique scent

Snif “Me” is an intimate, clean scent that is worn close to the skin. By definition, a “skin scent” is a group of fragrances that sets out to elevate your natural smell with a cocooning, warm signature. In fragrance, skin scents are not an official olfactive classification, but rather a theme among fragrances that emulate the scent of freshly-showered, warm skin. In Snif “Me,” the intimate dynamic of fresh and warm notes creates a magnetic tension that blends with your natural scent and enhances it. All fragrance is made up of unique ingredients that evaporate at different rates. Because of this and the carefully curated notes, Snif “Me” evolves over time and from wearer to wearer, shifting from velvety peach skin and sultry plum into enveloping orris and cloud-like musk.

On the inspiration behind the perfume

Skin scents are popular in the market and we wanted to make one with a Snif spin — making it fun, accessible and even more elevated. Skin scents are extremely personal and we were inspired by the opportunity to design a fragrance that can be universally loved, yet individually unique. The scent has been under development for well over a year, but we realized very early in the development process that Snif “Me” was different from other fragrances in this category because of the immediate following it created among anyone who tried it.

A big part of the fragrance development process is testing fragrances on the skin — team members, friends, family and our scent board went crazy for it — it became an instant hit. Everyone that smelled it wanted a sample to wear because they were instantly hooked. Snif “Me” is a scent that reveals its true beauty when worn on the skin. We’re eager to share it with the world and hear about the unique olfactive experiences everyone has when they wear Snif “Me.”

Snif’s “Me” Eau de Parfum retails for $65 USD and is available on the brand’s website and Ulta.
