Taylor Russell Is a Vision in the Woods for LOEWE's SS25 Campaign
Tributing the brand’s “geological roots.”
LOEWE just reunited with David Sims for its Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, exploring the relationship between body and landscape. Taking things back to LOEWE’s “geographic roots” and connection to Spain, the campaign brings its talents to the great outdoors, capturing crinoline dresses and signature bags amidst the forest.
Captured in the countryside air of Taverter, an area in Catalonia, the images aim to highlight LOEWE’s affinity for the natural world. Starring Taylor Russell and Drew Starkey, SS25 celebrates the collection’s tactility and textures. Spotlighting pieces like draped trousers, leathers and sequinned dresses, the campaign sees Russell leaning barefoot on a tree, as her sequins decorate the woodland’s foliage and bark. Starkey is captured atop a pile of leaves, with his metal chain top coldly glistening in the forest.
Alongside floral prints, feathers and earthly leathers, the campaign spotlights signatures like the Madrid bag, the Featherlight Puzzle and the Flamenco Purse, plus the Toy Shoes in floral sequins. Each still life depicts the SS25 objects as “naturalistic performance art,” blending the man-made with the majestical.
