ASICS SportStyle Reunites With SHUSHU/TONG
Unveiling the newest iteration of GEL-KINETIC FLUENT sneakers.
SHUSHU/TONG is back with a new ASICS SportStyle collaboration, reimagining the brand’s GEL-KINETIC FLUENT sneakers. Blending Shushu’s signature girlish touch with the footwear label’s sportswear designs, the new release offers a “soft yet strong, structured yet romantic” approach to a classic silhouette.
Leaning into the SHUSHU/TONG bow motif as its anchor, the new collaboration features an enlarged, multi-layered version that transforms it from sweet and delicate to sharp and powerful. Embedded into the sneaker’s lacing system, the new shoe also features a 3D-embossed logo on its tongue. Boasting a structured forefoot for added flexibility and bounce, the shoe features a cushioned midsole, combining GEL technology and FOAM for shock absorption.
Landing in two core colorways, the first “Red/Black” iteration is crafted from a mixture of suede, leather and mesh, complete with vibrant red accents on its heel. The Silver version is crafted from metallic leather and features the same clean branding.
