Jacquemus and Nike Just Announced an Après Ski Collaboration
Resulting in an 18-part collection of performance-led pieces.
Jacquemus and Nike just announced their first Après Ski collection, blending the French label’s distinctive style with Nike’s technical prowess. Across 18 pieces, the collection offers a mix of sportswear staples and skiwear classics, blurring the lines between fashion and sport.
“I have always been a fan of skiing: It’s my favorite sport and has been my favorite winter getaway since I was young,” says Simon Porte Jacquemus in a press release. “Ski attire has always fascinated me, and I’m a big collector of vintage ’80s ski pieces. This collection with Nike is an opportunity for me to bring a new fashion story into our collaboration and into the ski community, which is a first for me,” the designer continues.
Triple-layer GORE-TEX jackets and pants form the base of the collection, crafted with waterproof and windproof shell exteriors and a tailored silhouette. Elsewhere, the jacket features a zip-in interior bomber jacket with Primaloft insulation and Jacquemus branding across its shoulders, plus a Nike Swoosh on the chest.
“Working with technical fabrics, learning from the best, and bringing forward a minimal and modern execution was a super interesting process for me, in the Jacquemus way,” adds Jacquemus.
Along with jackets and pants, the collection debuts a new women’s woven jumpsuit, crafted from a stretchy water-repellent fabric and designed with a slim fit. Elsewhere, the womenswear offering includes a pair of stirrup leggings and a breathable bralette.
