PUMA and ROMBAUT Are Going Back to the Future for Season 2

PUMA and ROMBAUT‘s sold-out collaboration last year made futuristic footwear the next frontier in fashion, and the duo is back for season 2 with another year 3000 launch. The new “Levitation” sneakers take on the silhouette of a familiar silo, combining a classic PUMA style with ROMBAUT’s sculptural, avant-garde designs. The result? The type of collab that could only come from the mastermind behind one of Paris‘ hottest luxury footwear brands.
The upgraded “Levitation” sneakers are based on the PUMA Speedcat’s sleek style. Arriving in three colorways, including an extraterrestrial shade of silver, the shoes feature an extended heel that gives the illusion of floating with every step. Each pair is slightly different, telling its own design story in the context of the greater collection.
On the metallic pair, a dual-branded air bubble decorates the upper, tying together the silver mesh and leather look. The white pair is complemented by a gum sole and chic, suede toe-cap. The black is a refined version: full leather with a dark, almost marbled sole. The retro-futuristic drop continues the style of the debut collab, championing a no-gravity look grounded in modern streetwear.
