Hotlips and VIEVE Are Merging Makeup and Jewelry With New Collaboration
The duo just unveiled the “Supermodel Bundle.”
Jewelry label Hotlips has announced its latest collaboration with makeup brand VIEVE. Drawing inspiration from the duo’s shared interest in bold self-expression, the limited-edition bundle is seamlessly meshing the brands’ distinct aesthetics together. The “Supermodel Bundle” features an exclusive colorway of Hotlips’ signature lip ring and VIEVE’s cornerstone lip gloss — for a lineup that’s just as functional as it is fabulous.
Jamie Genevieve, the founder of VIEVE, finds that the collaboration combines two of her passions: makeup and jewelry. When creating the capsule, she says that her main reference point was the ’90s-inspired lip gloss shades VIEVE is known for. Similarly, Hotlips’ founder Solange Azagury-Partridge notes that the partnership stemmed from her desire to wear lipstick in more ways than one. “I’ve always loved lipstick — and I created the Hotlips rings partly as a way of being able to wear lipstick albeit on my hand,” she says in a press release.
In addition to a limited shade of the Hotlips ring, the collection also includes VIEVE’s Lip Dew in “Supermodel” — a brown nude with gold shimmer which the collaboration was inspired by. Similarly to the rest of Hotlips’ handmade pieces, the “Supermodel” ring is made in small quantities — with only 100 units being sold.
Starting November 6, the “Supermodel Bundle” will be available for purchase on VIEVE’s website for £235 GBP.
