UGG and Jeremy Scott's New Collaboration Brings Back the Cozy Flames

With a major fashion flashback from 2017.

UGG and Jeremy Scott are taking us back to 2017, re-releasing the now-iconic, flaming hot boots they launched eight years ago. The original capsule took the fashion world by storm, marking the first-ever collaboration between Scott and UGG, and setting the tone for the footwear brand’s future partnerships. The fiery boots are now back on the market, bringing nostalgia and bold style with them.

The OG UGG x Jeremy Scott collab was era-defining, dropping at a time when Snapchat was in its prime and fashion bloggers still dominated the space between Tumblr and Instagram. Given UGG’s current resurgence as the it-girl brand when it comes to cozy footwear, now is the perfect time to revisit an icon from the archive. Exactly like the original pair, red and orange flames are framed by blue embroidery, standing out against UGG’s classic short boot in “Chestnut.”

Three other boots were a part of the 2017 collaboration: a rhinestone-encrusted version of the flame boots, a classic short boot embellished with beads and jeweled flowers, and a pair with the words “UGG” and “Life” embroidered on the each boot. There hasn’t been any talk of bringing back the rest of the collection, but considering how popular they were at the time, maybe another nostalgic drop is in the works.

The UGG x Jeremy Scott re-edition boots are available to purchase now on the UGG website and select retailers.

In other news, Marc Jacobs and Dr. Martens’ latest collab reinvents the Kiki Boot.
