UGG and Nicole McLaughlin Deconstruct the Classics
Reimagining our favorite silhouettes for summer heat.
Is it time to rewrite the rules of summer footwear? UGG just dropped a collection that will completely change how you view seasonal transitions. Embracing a sleeker, lighter aesthetic, the Southern California brand has unveiled The Deconstructed Collection — a stripped-back take on their most coveted silhouettes designed specifically for warmer weather.
To bring this breezy vision to life, UGG tapped the multidisciplinary designer and queen of upcycling Nicole McLaughlin, alongside her best friend Angie. Shot a few blocks away from McLaughlin’s Brooklyn base, the high-energy campaign captures joy, friendship and the infectious energy of summer.
Instead of the brand’s traditional, thick sheepskin lining, the new lineup features an unlined premium suede construction. This means you get that signature UGG comfort in a much more breathable, flexible and lightweight package that easily transitions from breezy summer nights to cozy autumn days. The collection includes deconstructed version of the Tasman slipper, the Classic Mini and the Classic Lace-Up.
Dressed in UGG’s signature earthy colorways like Sand, Chestnut and Shaded Clover, each pair features a plush sheepskin insole to keep that cloud-like feel underfoot. The unlined suede will naturally develop a beautiful patina over time, making every single pair completely unique to you.
The Deconstructed Collection is available to purchase now on the UGG website and select retailers.
