So... When Is Justin Bieber Releasing New Music?

After debuting a new sound, the Canadian singer fights off countless rumors.

According to an Instagram post, Justin Bieber has new music on the way.

In the story post, the new father teased a video from the backseat of a vehicle, listening to none other than Bieber, himself.  ”Okay, okay, okay I’m shaking off the hate,” the lyrics chanted. The snippet likens the sounds of Playboi Carti and has fans hyping up the alleged release with the hashtag #JustinBieberIsComing. With tweets like “The Prince of Pop is back” and “Lord only knows how long we’ve been waiting for new music from Justin! JB7 is coming I can hardly wait any longer,” it’s clear his die-hard fans are eager for a revival.

However, as of February 2025 rumors have circulated that Bieber’s comeback is on pause. Recently, a slew of fit pics and behind-the-scenes videos have released, causing fans to questions the health of their fav. On February 27, the Canadian singer posted a video of him smoking, seemingly in response to rumors.

Although further details have yet to be shared, the video follows news that Bieber unfollowed fellow singer, Usher and rumors of a comeback. On January 12, Hypebeast highlighted the rumors:

Belloni’s What I’m Hearing newsletter claims that the 30-year-old is currently in the process of setting up his comeback, which includes hiring new legal representation. Bieber’s decision to return to recording music and possibly performing could be due to his significant debt to live events presenter AEG, which he incurred in 2022 after cancelling his tour to take care of his health. “I’m told Bieber needs the money and wants to work,” Belloni wrote via Consequence, also noting “other pop star expenses” as other probably reasons for his comeback.

Stay tuned for updates.
