Chloe Cherry Puts Her Chicest Foot Forward in Blondita's Marilyn Heels

Introducing the label’s first footwear release.

If Blondita clothes are made for stepping into your inner diva, then Blondita shoes are made for stepping on any self-doubt and putting your best foot forward. The Los Angeles-based brand that’s taken over the scene from coast to coast and everywhere in between has become easily identifiable due to its feminine silhouettes and bold prints, but now the founder and designer behind Blondita is exploring a new lane with the introduction of the label’s first shoe: the Marilyn Heels.

Nothing really completes a look like a reliable, sexy heel. Blondita’s Angela Ruis was keenly aware of this, so she knew she had to make her own to pair with full Blondita looks. Her signature sense of whimsicality is maintained through a metallic finish and cute polka dot print, but the shoes signal a new era for Blondita — one where she is growing and scaling and keeping us on our toes (literally).

Summer vibes inspire the Marilyn Heels. “I’m definitely trying to have a Blondita Sailor Summer! For the shoes, I was inspired by 1950s Lucite heels and I had to add the Blondita twist of Polka Dots to them,” Ruis tells us.

Ruis already summons all cool-girls everywhere with her pieces, so it only made sense for her to call upon one of the ultimate cool girls to breathe life into the Marilyn heels. The creative teamed up with her friends Austin and Agusta to shoot the new heels on Chloe Cherry — everyone’s favorite “perfect angel girl.”
