Plot Twist: Selena Gomez's Breakup Song Features... Her Fiancé
A pop single titled, “Call Me When You Break Up (ft. Gracie Abrams and Benny Blanco).
After years of perfecting cosmetics company, Rare Beauty, actor and singer Selena Gomez is back to creating new music – with a questionable surprise.
In a recently shared snippet, Gomez sang, “I wanna be the first one on your mind when you wake up… We talk about forever when I’m taking over makeup.” The single is set to feature American singer Gracie Abrams, most known for hit singles “I’m Sorry, I Love You” and “That’s So True.”
Rocking a choker and bow top, the clip tapped into nostalgia with a pop single that you just have to dance to. The juicy sneak peek has received mixed reviews from fans, however. “Feels very 2010” one fan stated while another said “It’s catchy…. But she just engaged…. Makes no sense.” Jokingly, another chimed in with “Benny our brother is getting played.”
Little did we know, the snippet cut off right before debuting her fiancé, Blanco’s snippet. The mixed response may be due to her latest single release with future husband and fellow creative, Benny Blanco. Titled, “Scared of Loving You,” it seemingly let fans into their once budding romance which has gone beyond viral lately.
