'Severance' Confirmed For Season 3
Here’s everything we know (Spoiler: the wait won’t be three years).
Variety announces Apple TV‘s hit show Severance is officially renewed for Season 3.
“Well you have 2 weeks to complete and start airing season 3,” a fan commented on the series renewal. If you’re wondering why fans are pushy about Season 3, its because they waited three years for Season 2.
The highly anticipated season came and went and ironically, the series renewal was announced as fans shared their thoughts on the finale and the reviews are mixed. “THE FINALE WAS PERFECTION AND I CANT WAAAAAAAIT,” a fan stated while another chimed in with “Season 2 was a let down. BORING. Me and my partner tried watching it on three separate occasions and it’s a drag. Season 1 was so good though.”
So some fans are asking for Season 3 of Severance.

“The sci-fi mystery series had built a strong audience in the three-year gap between the launch of its first and second season,” Variety wrote. Following its successful first season, the show’s creator Dan Erickson teased his plan for the show. ”Creator Erickson told Variety ahead of the Season 2 premiere that ‘a lot is mapped out’ for Season 3, and there is an endpoint for the series as a whole, and we know more or less how many seasons we are going to do.”
According to Ben Stiller, fans won’t have to wait three years for the next batch of episodes — but that’s all we know so far. At the same time, fans have burning questions. For example, did Gemma make it out alive? Who did Mark choose?
