From tunnel fits to on-court lore, the WNBA has become all the girls care to discuss. This year’s WNBA Draft brings more eyes to the event with Russell Westbrook’s Honor the Gift styling Kentucky Wildcat’s player Georgia Amoore.
“It’s surreal that Russell and Honor The Gift wanted to not only style me but make history with me,” Amoore shared. “I love what we collaboratively put together and could not think of a better way to begin my journey as a WNBA player and bring even more attention to women’s basketball.”
The collaboration marks the first time an NBA player amplifies the WNBA draft, “a statement of solidarity, respect, and cultural alignment across leagues,” the brand added.
“We created something aspirational for Georgia, but we also worked with her to create something attainable for basketball fans,” Westbrook shared in the exclusive press release. “I’m excited to see people pay homage to the game.”
