Chillhouse Expands Into the Nail Polish Category With "Forever Wear"

The gel-free system encourages you to “break up with the toxic [and] find your forever.”

Chillhouse is entering into the nail polish space with “Forever Wear,” a two-step system that delivers gel-like performance without a visit to your technician.

The Latinx-founded brand from entrepreneur Cyndi Ramirez includes a nail salon in New York City and a bestselling press-on collection. Its new product, “Forever Wear,” consists of a combination — a “Chill Paint” color coat and a “Magic Finish” top coat.

First, the buckwheat and hibiscus-infused “Chill Paint” is applied. After waiting for the paint to harden and dry with just natural light, you can apply the “Magic Finish,” which reacts with the first layer of polish to build a polymer network that acts as a shield from chipping, peeling and scratching. This toxic-free team-up allows you to achieve a salon-quality result without placing damaging UV light (like a regular gel manicure would) onto your nail bed.

“The creation of ‘Forever Wear’ – ‘break up with the toxic, find your forever’ – is a call to action for the Chillhouse community to remove toxic behaviours from their lives, to choose confidence over self doubt, balance over burnout, presence over doom scrolling,” the brand said in a press statement.
