Dsquared2 just launched its new “Summer Lovers” capsule, tapping into the hot ‘n’ heavy feelings that the season brings. Providing us with “the perfect wardrobe for beachside romance,” the collection brings together everything we know and love from Dsquared2 — just that little bit sexier.
Taking its name from the 1982 classic film, “Summer Lovers” blends elevated craft, a vibrant color palette and most importantly — a free spirit — to offer the perfect pieces for summer getaways. Inspired by ’80s Hollywood and the “refined sensuality of French arthouse cinema” that underpins its cinematic equivalent, the collection looks at themes of desire and discovery.
Featuring breezy summer fabrics, classic denim silhouettes and earthy raffia accessories, the collection is designed to be worn out at the beach, in the heart of the city and back in the intimacy of your hotel room. Reimagining its classic logo in color, the campaign visuals take inspiration from holiday postcards and classic vacation settings.
