Byredo's New Lip Balms Are Just as Addicting as Its Perfumes
Available in five satin shades.
Tinted lip balms are having a huge moment, and cult-favorite perfume brand Byredo just entered the chat. Its new refillable Lip Care Balms aim to provide both hydration and tint — making them an essential part of your daily makeup rotation. While the brand has already dabbled with both satin and liquid lipsticks, these new balms aim to make the mundane task of applying lip balm a sensorial experience.
Formulated with natural vegan ingredients like castor seed oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, Lip Care promises to bring you extreme hydration without greasiness. The balms are also said to deliver up to 24 hours of soft and nourished lips by reducing the feeling of dryness. Not to mention, they’re equally as satisfying for your nose. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette developed a signature scent for the balms, which includes seductive notes of red fruits, powdery florals and vanilla cream — meaning your lips will smell just as good as they look.

The Lip Care Balms come in five different shades: “Chromophobia” a sheer balm for low maintenance days, “Celeste Nostalgia” a coral red, “Chain Reaction” a pH-reactive pink color that looks different on everyone, “Cloud Bursting” a mauve berry and “Fantome Rapture” a nudey brown. Depending on your desired look, Byredo says you can apply it sparingly for a sheer wash of natural color, or really pack it on for intense pigment.
The balms retail for £48 GBP (approx $55 USD), and are now available for purchase on the brand’s website.
