Ariana Grande And Cynthia Erivo Reveal 'Wicked: For Good' Trailer At Cinemacon

As the final film completing the Wicked universe, Wicked: For Good has been all fans talk about since part one closed — oh, that and Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s growing friendship. Thankfully, Elphaba (played by Erivo and Glinda (played by Grande) have just revealed the trailer to Wicked: For Good at CinemaCon.
On April 3, the duo took to the stage of CinemaCon in Las Vegas and opened by sharing their excitement. As USA Today reported, “Grande teased that her character has to ‘look at her reflection to figure out what it means to be Glinda the Good’ – and also shouted out the concession workers at a South Florida Cinemark – while Erivo said Elphaba ‘has to learn how to use her powers for the betterment of good in exile.’” Producer Marc Platt added viewers can expect “more complexity and more profundity” from both characters, as well.
The cast of Wicked consists of Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard and Ethan Slater as Boq. Wicked Part 1 is slated to premiere on November 21, 2025.
As always, CinemaCon was the home of many film announcements, most notably, Keanu Reeves is confirmed to return to John Wick 5.
