Skepta's MAINS x Kickers Collaboration Is Finally Here

First teased on the runway at London Fashion Week.

First teased on the runway at Skepta‘s London Fashion Week show last year, the new MAINS x Kickers collaboration finally has a release date. In celebration of the Kick Hi’s 50th anniversary, the new collaboration sees Skepta’s brand reimagine the classic silhouette with a contemporary twist.

Introducing new textures and a little edge, the MAINS x Kickers Kick Hi lands in two colorways: dark green with off-white accents and a “Grey Snake” iteration, crafted with an embossed snake print in black and grey. Completing the collection is a brand new silhouette for Kickers, dubbed the Kick Mule. Designed as a slip-on version of the classic boot, the new silhouette comes crafted from soft, premium leathers and is lined with faux fur. Available in three colorways, the new mule will be available in a tumbled tan nubuck leather, waxy dark red and classic black with contrasting detailing.

Both shoes in the collection are finished with dual-branding detailing across the silhouettes, landing on quarter tabs, aglets and fleurettes.

To celebrate the official launch, MAINS and Kickers are set to host a ticketed rave on June 19 in East London, personally hosted by Skepta with a line-up of emerging talent curated by the artist himself. Tickets will be available via ballot to customers who purchase from the collection within the first 48 hours of release.

Take a look at the new collaboration above, launching on June 14 via MAINS and Kickers, plus the new MAINS pop-up in Soho, London.

In other footwear news, a ballet flat version of adidas’ Stan Smith is coming soon.
