Slipmami Enlists Maldito Paris for a Dreamy, Fashion-Forward "Mercury in Cancer"

Tune into the sensual music video that doubles as a fashion film.

Brazilian rapper Slipmami collaborates with celebrity-approved brand, Maldito Paris.

Introducing herself as a Black, queer powerhouse in fashion, Slipmami celebrates the release of her new single with a fire fashion film. Already recognized by the GRAMMY Academy as a Brazilian rapper to watch, her single ”Mercúrio em Câncer,” translation “Mercury in Cancer,” is her first official release this year. If you’re new to Maldito Paris’ impact, just know their collections sell out in seconds and are beloved by SZASolange Knowles and Miley Cyrus.

The fashion film was teased on June 14, 2025 and left her fans in shambles – check the comments. The visuals are a dreamy, pink and purple paradise with heavy boudoir influences. Donning a sensual updo, the Brazilian rapper evokes pure sensuality in Maldito Paris’.

The press release states, “More than just a music release, the project is an immersive collaboration with Maldito Paris, a brand that blends the rigor of French haute couture with the freedom of Brazilian pop culture.” The fashion film is creative directed by trans Brazilian icon, Jöa Azevedo, founder of Yume Craft Studio, and “one of the only transgender women in an executive position in Brazil.”
