TTSWTRS Tributes an Unlikely Summer Icon With Its New Capsule
Together, each garment tells the story of a melting ice cream.
TTSWTRS, the rising Ukrainian fashion label, just dropped its new summer capsule inspired by the textures of ice cream. Marking a slight departure from the brand’s typically form-fitting garments, the capsule offers new oversized silhouettes like T-shirts and shorts.
Inspired by “the sensation of melting,” the capsule features four distinct pieces: a hoodie, a T-shirt, a bodysuit and shorts. Together, each piece tells a chapter in the story of ice cream, with the hoodie’s textured ice cream print capturing the very first moment when the ice cream begins to melt.
Next, the T-shirt and shorts take us through the next stage, adorned with semi-transparent stains to mimic the ice cream just landing on fabric. Finally, the bodysuit — crafted from ultra-soft jersey — appears to “melt” gently onto the skin. Landing in subtle hues of pastel pink, the “Ice Cream” capsule aims to narrate the relationship between fabric and skin and body and gaze.
