Addison Drags ChatGPT and Drops the "Rae" with Quen Blackwell

With mixed reactions from fans.

On a new episode of FEEDING STARVING CELEBRITIES with Quenlin Blackwell, singer Addison discusses her newly released album, upcoming tour and trends she’s not loving.

Following the release of Addison, Rae has been everywhere – and fans are claiming the album is already the “Album of the Year.” Before its release, however, many questioned if the album’s title hinted towards a name change for the rising star.

“Is that something that you — You talked about that, right?” Blackwell asked. “Well.. I didn’t really talk about it,” Addison shared. “But I’ve said it in an interview like, ‘Oh, I think I’ve just grown past being called Addison Rae,’ and then the album being named Addison was kind of like a tie-in for that.”

Despite teasing the news beforehand, some fans are struggling to adapt to her new stage name.

Elsewhere, Addison reveals one trend she’s not tapping into: ChatGPT. Despite dominating social media trends and becoming everyone’s therapist, the “Diet Pepsi” singer shared that she’s never used it before. “She’s the Gen Z It-Girl and one of the most interesting artists to watch,” Blackwell begins as Addison chimes in with, “Who wrote this?” Blackwell chimes in hilariously, “ChatGPT.” According to Addison, “You know I’ve never used it.”

“Why, because you don’t believe in the ethics?” Blackwell added. “Uh, yeah,” Addison closed.
