Y-3 Debuts a Futuristic FW25 Running Collection

Fusing bold designs with technical precision.

Technical, sporty and beautifully spray-died, the Y-3 Fall/Winter 2025 running collection has landed. Reflecting its seasonal collection’s aesthetic, the signature Amber Ink print is showcased through a spray-died technique, resulting in an expressive design where you can genuinely say each piece is unique. Born from a collaboration between Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto and adidas in 2002, the brand redefines the boundaries of sportswear, combining avant-garde designs with performance expertise.

Say goodbye to monotonous block colors on your runs in this bold re-imagination of what activewear can look like. Including tanks, tees, leggings, shorts and jackets, the technically considered fabrications offer the warmth, texture (and style) needed for those early morning park runs… or even just the post-run club coffee. A combination of deep reds, icy greys and crisp black is elevated through the aforementioned spray dye and features on exaggerated silhouettes such as the cropped puffers and longline rain jackets.

If that wasn’t enough, Y-3 has once again reimagined two adidas running silhouettes with the Y-3 ADIOS 9 and the Y-3 ADIOS PRO 4. Both styles feature the painted effect Three Stripes in black, white, yellow and red colorways. So, whether or not there’s a marathon in your future, let this be your sign to level up your activewear.

Shot by Thue Nørgaard, a regular Y-3 collaborator, the lookbook tells “a kaleidoscopic story of light, color, and composition.”

Take a look at the visuals above and head to the adidas website to purchase the new collection.
