Alessia Russo serves as key forward for the Lionesses, and her mantra “cool, calm collected” represents her impressive ability to perform under pressure on the field. During the game’s most critical points, remaining cool, calm and collected is Russo’s specialty. In her hometown Maidstone, Kent, Russo’s grounding mantra graces the side of a bus — serving as a crucial reminder to live in the moment.
Lucy Parker, defender for the Lionesses, shares that her mantra “you’ve got this” pushes her to be resilient. Aside from being a motivating force during games, Parker’s mantra is universally encouraging. In her hometown of Cambridge, “you’ve got this” graces the sidewalks to give college students that extra push during stressful times.
