Be Athletica Is the New Sustainable Activewear Brand To Know
Offering one-of-a-kind products made from deadstock fabrics.
Be Athletica launched just eight months ago in December 2024, and already, it has released a viral top, hosted Padel tournaments and expanded into the U.K. market.
Founded by word of mouth in the U.A.E., the brand was originally rooted in just racket sports, but has since expanded to include everything from yoga and pilates to your morning coffee date. With a core focus on sustainability, 95% of the collections are produced with reclaimed deadstock fabrics.
“Because the fabric was only available in limited amounts, factories often discarded these otherwise premium materials since other brands weren’t willing to work with such low volumes,” explains the press release. Blending performance with purpose, Be Athletica is offering us a better option for activewear.
The Spring/Summer 2025 drop includes colorways like “Matcha” and “Sunny Lemontini” with a brand-new fabric category of ribbed sets reminiscent of ’90s loungewear. The sustainable pieces vary from sports bras and leggings to mini dresses and bolero tops with core designs including a stand-out white piping detail that makes the brand instantly recognizable.
