In addition to up to 12 hours of wear, the drops are also said to visibly firm, smooth and even tone for healthier-looking skin. Unlike similar products that serve as a more traditional foundation, the Kamo Drops suit practically any makeup routine, as they can be customized to provide all-over coverage, spot-concealing or a sheer tint when mixed in with moisturizer.
How To Use
I start by pumping a pea-sized amount of the Kamo Drops on to the back of my hand. Depending on your preference, you can either blend it out like serum with your fingers, or use a foundation brush. I found that when mixed in with other skincare products for a more sheer finish, it’s best to blend with your fingers. On the other hand, when I apply the product on its own I prefer to use my usual foundation blush to get more even coverage.
An Honest Review
Personally, I love a versatile product and the Kamo Triple-Peptide Cover Drops are exactly that. While I usually reach for a light coverage skin tint for the everyday, I really appreciated that the drops offered a variety of options depending on my desired makeup look. Right off the bat, I expected it to be too much on its own because of its claims of high coverage, but it actually left a natural, glowy finish, even when I didn’t pair it with any other skincare products. It blends seamlessly which makes it easy to apply, and it also didn’t feel heavy on my skin or give me that uncanny valley look some higher coverage foundations do.
Not to mention, I found my shade pretty easily — as the brand offers 25 options across cool, neutral and warm undertones, which isn’t always typical for skincare-forward complexion products. As for skincare benefits, the formula kept my normal-to-dry skin feeling sufficiently hydrated throughout the day. But at the same time, it still gave adequate coverage without making me feel like it was going to slide off my face in the heat.
