Dreaming Eli Says "This One is About Love" for SS26

With naked dresses and flushed cheeks against a spiritual backdrop.

Gold carvings, vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows cast a sacred glow over Dreaming Eli’s Spring/Summer 2026 show at London Fashion Week. Staged inside the Gothic-style St. Cyprian’s Church in Marylebone, an ethereal soundtrack echoed through the nave, supported by the delicate strum of a live harpist, as models glided slowly down the aisle with a screen of gilded gold behind them.

A love letter to women everywhere, the show was titled “My Name is Amore,” with the collection marking a transformation, a turning point from themes of survival in past seasons to one of softness and vulnerability through love.

Raw, ripped and reimagined, tweed was a mainstay of the collection, taking a traditionally coarse material and transforming it into something soft and romantic. The classic textile with its rugged beauty makes the perfect fabric for a collection inspired by both the strength and softness of feminine power. The word “Amore” was also seen embroidered on the pieces as an homage to designer Elisa Trombatore’s Sicilian heritage and the women who taught her love. Much like tattoos and scars, these words etched into the nude mesh embody something personal and permanent.

Sensuality radiated through sheer fabrics and corsetry, while the beauty told its own story. Makeup artist Carly Utting described it as “that honeymoon glow, a first-love glow,” with dewy skin, flushed cheeks and randomly placed lashes mimicking a wild, lived-in look. Dreaming Eli’s SS26 collection doesn’t just wear its heart on its sleeve, it bares its soul. A celebration of self-love and femininity wrapped in sensuality and sacred symbolism, this is one to watch.
