The Jacquemus and Timberland Boat Shoe Got a Croc Makeover
Taking their second footwear collab to the swamp.
When playful, French luxury meets rugged American heritage, design magic happens. Timberland and Jacquemus have joined forces once again to reimagine an enduring outdoor icon: Timberland’s classic Authentic Boat Shoe. First introduced in 1978, the timeless silhouette gets an elevated, trendy upgrade just in time for the new season.
Trading traditional smooth leather for a crocodile-embossed finish, the limited-edition collaboration brings a countryside spirit straight into the realm of fine leather craftsmanship. The design balances Timberland’s utilitarian, weather-resistant DNA with Simon Porte Jacquemus’ signature, refined and contemporary approach.
Available in two understated colorways — “Brown Croc” and “Navy Croc” — the shoe is a far cry from the bold turquoise pair the duo launched their collaboration with. Instead, this version pairs an embossed leather upper with a soft leather lining, a plush padded collar, and Timberland’s signature rugged rubber outsole. Subtle details like bespoke branded aglets and tonal tree logos complete the look.
The Jacquemus x Timberland Authentic Boat Shoe officially launches on October 15, and will be available online at Jacquemus and Timberland websites, as well as select flagship boutiques and luxury wholesale partners globally.
In other news, PUMA launched the Speedcat Croc sneaker with ROSÉ.
