UNIQLO Tapped Francesco Risso for a Fresh Knitwear Drop
Featuring genderless designs and playful color blocking.
The colder weather has officially arrived, and with it comes a fresh UNIQLO knitwear drop. The brand teamed up with designer Francesco Risso for the second time to bring playful sweaters to the “UNIQLO F.RISSO” Fall/Winter 2026 capsule. Titled “Made for Dreaming,” the lineup combines Risso’s experimental aesthetic with UNIQLO’s everyday essentials, bringing bold hues and clean lines into the colder months.
Building on the Summer 2026 release, the collection takes inspiration from vintage knitwear, reimagined through genderless designs and distinctive two-tone color blocking. At its core is 3D knitting technology, which creates garments in one continuous piece for a seamless finish and refined shape. The result? Elevated staples that feel anything but basic.
Sweaters arrive in a range of silhouettes, from classic turtlenecks and mock necks to polo styles, alongside V-neck and boat-neck designs. Crafted from an ultra-fine merino wool blend, the pieces are designed to feel lightweight while keeping things cosy when temperatures drop. And it wouldn’t be a UNIQLO drop without some HEATTECH, arriving in socks and beanies to round out the offering and add a practical finishing touch to your winter wardrobe.
“That tension between the absolute precision of the machine and the irreducible beauty of the human hand became perhaps the most compelling proposition of this collection,” shared Risso of his fascination with balancing imperfect human craft with modern technology.
The “UNIQLO F.RISSO” Knitwear Capsule launches on October 29. Head to the brand’s website to refresh your winter wardrobe.
