Nike ACG Is Taking Us on a Trip Through the Alps During the Winter Olympics
Reintroducing All Conditions Gear with an outdoor adventure.
Nike recently rebranded its ACG line, focusing on the fashion and performance side of outdoor sports and activities from trail running and hiking to climbing. To celebrate the reintroduction of a brand staple, Nike ACG is hosting its own Milan takeover during the Winter Olympics. All aboard the All Conditions Express: the brand is encouraging outdoor exploration with a four-day journey through the Alps and into the wild.
Departing Milan on February 4, the All Conditions Express is a repurposed Italian commuter train, painted orange and covered in ACG insignia. The train acts as a mobile basecamp for the innovative program, taking passengers into the Orobic Alps for curated sessions made for thrill-seekers and adventurers.
Guided trail runs and the best gear on the market? That sounds like a gorpcore enthusiast’s dream. The train itself is fitted with updated technology and all the comforts needed to make it in the wild. Of course the journey wouldn’t be complete without some of Nike’s most elite talents on board, too.
Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner and Paralympic fencing champion Bebe Vio joined the group for the train’s first voyage into the mountains, and more special guests are on the way.
The All Conditions Express will make its final journey on February 8, ending the bespoke experience, but setting the standard for Nike ACG going forward.
In other ACG news, the brand released a new kit and outerwear capsule with Inter Milan.
