ROSALÍA Fronts New Balance's New 204L Campaign
Introducing a new sporty and feminine look for the beloved sneaker.
ROSALÍA is going back to her New Balance roots, fronting the new campaign for the brand’s 204L sneaker. The brand ambassador debuted the sneaker when she was first announced as a new face of New Balance, and for the latest iteration of the shoe, the award-winning artist is back. In a campaign shot by frequent New Balance collaborator and esteemed photographer Renell Medrano, ROSALÍA pairs the new sneaker with a flowing white skirt and a quarter-zip, playing into the sporty-femme style of the shoe.
The new 204L is feminine and fun, arriving in ivory with scalloped details and ribbon laces. The colorway of “Sea Salt” and “Linen” is soft and simple, bringing a type of coquettish whimsy to the sneaker. The scalloped edges mimic the frills of lacy clothing, adding a final, flirty flourish to the athletic silhouette.
In a press release, ROSALÍA said “What drew me to the 204L is its balance of legacy and progression. It’s polished but disruptive. From the beginning, debuting the 204L alongside the announcement of my ambassadorship with New Balance felt like a natural extension of our shared vision.”
The new 204L is available to purchase now on the New Balance website and select retailers.
