Penhaligon's Newest Perfume Promises to Boost Your Mood
The brand just unveiled “Bold Blend.”
British fragrance brand Penhaligon’s has just unveiled “Bold Blend,” the newest addition to its innovative perfume lineup. Described by the brand as “fresh, direct, invigorating and for those who are ready to make a bold entrance,” the scent also features mood-boosting properties.
“Bold Blend” opens with evocative peppermint and black pepper, before earthy notes of clary sage and violet leaf take hold, finally, the scent settles into a woody trio of palo santo, cypress and cyproiol. Created by perfumer Paul Guerlain, the perfume is said to live at the intersection of power and playfulness — all while making use of Penhaligon’s ethos of niche fragrances composed of high-quality ingredients.

Drawing inspiration from vintage apothecary practices, the brand promises that each individual note of “Bold Blend” will “energize, uplift and help the wearer stand out.” Peppermint and black pepper wake the senses, clary sage and violet leaf tap into strength and clarity, and woody base notes offer both depth and distinction.
“Bold Blend” retails for $295 USD and is available for purchase on the brand’s website.
