The adidas x Wales Bonner SS26 Footwear Is Perfect

Wales Bonner and adidas Originals are back for the new season, merging the performance and aesthetics of sport with luxury for another show stopping collection. As always, the clothes are delightful, transforming the design aspects of sports like football and running into more refined, chic pieces. This season, though, the footwear takes center stage.
After the Wales Bonner Samba singlehandedly revived fashion’s affinity for football aesthetics, the designer is reimagining the Gazelle this time. Arriving in both snakeskin and pony hair, the sleek sneaker comes in rich, brown premium leather. The mix of patterns and materials adds texture to a shoe that is already a fan favorite in fashionable circles, elevating the sneaker from bright colorways to a mature, luxurious style.
The Karintha sneaker is a nod to the earliest adidas football boots, arriving in classic black with white stripes. The Wales Bonner logo is printed on the side above the stripes in gold, and a cognac toe cap completes the vintage look. Handcrafted in Brazil, an airy, woven version of the sneaker was made for the summer heat.
To round off the footwear selection for SS26, the Adizero Adios is a performance sneaker reinvented through a fashionable lens. Arriving in a similar shade of brown to the wider collection, the mesh upper is caged by leather stripes, suede accents and contrast stitching.
The new adidas Originals x Wales Bonner collection will be available to purchase starting April 17 on the adidas website and select retailers.
