Naomi Yasuda Wants Your Nails to Look Good Enough to Eat
The nail artist, known for her work with KATSEYE, just unveiled a delicious new collaboration with Magnum.
Food-inspired manicures are all the rage, so naturally, celebrity nail artist Naomi Yasuda is releasing limited-edition press-ons in collaboration with Magnum Ice Cream. Just in time for festival season, the Dessert in the Desert Press-Ons feature 3D details, sculpted charms and chrome elements — all of which embody Yasuda’s signature nail art aesthetic.
While the outfits are a huge part of music festivals, nails also play an essential role in the festivities. “Festival season is such a big moment for style and self-expression, and so many of my clients are part of that culture,” Yasuda says in a press release. Citing Magnum’s bold brand identity, the nail artist says the collaboration felt like a natural fit for her creatively.
With clients like KATSEYE, Sabrina Carpenter and Alysa Liu, Yasuda has become synonymous with her maximalist, editorial nail sets that never skimp on the small details. When it comes to the collaboration with Magnum, Yasuda is bringing the same level of expertise to fans all over the world in the form of an at-home, DIY press-on kit.
The Dessert in the Desert Press-Ons retail for $50 USD and are available for purchase on the brand’s website.
