Clarks Originals Drops the Desert Riders FW26 Collection
Designed in collaboration with artist Blanche Yu.
Clarks Originals is bringing wanderlust and craftsmanship to our autumnal wardrobes with its Fall/Winter 2026 “Desert Riders” collection. Tapping Chinese artist Blanche Yu as Guest Creative Director, the legacy British footwear brand delivers a stunning fusion of American Western iconography and traditional Mongolian nomadic craft.
Shot against the breathtaking landscapes of Inner Mongolia, the campaign brings nomadic romanticism right to our feet. The collection reinterprets iconic heritage silhouettes with rich, tactile details like weathered leathers, hand-embroidered vamps, stud accents, intricate lace finishes and textured, hairy uppers.
Favorites like the Wallabee and Desert Trek receive chic updates for the colder months, but it’s the brand new silhouettes that are making a case for our wishlists. The Desert 2456 Rock is a bold rework of the classic Desert Boot featuring a padded collar, a roomier toe shape, and a heavy-duty Rock sole unit.
Another newcomer is the Wallabee Lace, available exclusively in women’s sizing. This silhouette features an outdoor-inspired lace-to-toe construction that gives the classic Wallabee a gorpcore edge with a touch of feminine style.
“The Desert Riders collection is a story of exploration and reinvention,” shared Yu in a press release. “It was an honor to work with a brand with more than 200 years of heritage and shine a light on the beautiful traditions of Mongolian craftsmanship for a modern audience.”
The Desert Riders collection will be available to purchase starting this September on the Clarks Originals website and select retailers.
