Balenciaga Launches Its Winter 26 Campaign
Starring Anok Yai and Liu Wen in a Renaissance-inspired shoot.
Balenciaga is getting us ready for the colder months, with the house unveiling its Winter 2026 collection campaign, titled “ClairObscur.” Lensed by photographer Robin Galiegue, the imagery features some of our favorite models Anok Yai, Liu Wen and Dara Gueye against a romantic, contrasting backdrop.
Pierpaolo Piccioli draws inspiration from High Renaissance art, merging historic Balenciaga design codes with a modern edge. The collection focuses heavily on dramatic, structured outerwear. Hooded jackets, peacoats and blousons feature high collars and rounded shoulders, rendered in rich leathers, shearlings, wools and paillette-embroidered silks. Gold B-shaped buckles and subtle jewelry add flashes of radiance, while bright hues cut through dark neutrals to emulate the classic chiaroscuro technique.
The collection introduces reimagined classic accessories. The Hourglass Avenue Bag offers a fresh take on the iconic silhouette, while Le 7 Bowling Bag, named after Paris’s 7th arrondissement, makes its winter debut. Footwear gets a playful spin with the curvy Bloom Pump and Midnight City Mule.
The Balenciaga Winter 26 Collection is available to purchase now on the Balenciaga website and select global retailers.
