Vetements x Reebok's Sock Runner Is Finally Available

After months of teasing, Vetements and Reebok have begun to release pairs from the highly-anticipated Spring/Summer 2018 collaboration. The sock runner is one of our favorite silhouettes from the two and is sure to become a streetwear holy grail.
Its form is inspired by Reebok’s archival Pump Evolution Runner, a 30-year-old prototype that Demna Gvasalia dug up. He took inspiration for the shoe’s split outsole to create this lightweight form that is covered with black stretch-knit fabric. The picture-worthy detailing on the shoe gives it a rebellious edge. “LEFT” and “RIGHT” are tagged on the corresponding shoe while both ankle cuffs are striped with the brand’s text logo. Reebok’s branding is placed in the midsole right above the white serrated sole which completes the runner.
