Pyer Moss x Reebok's First Collection "American, Also" Is Available Now
Following a Western theme.
Pyer Moss and Reebok officially have launched a Fall/Winter 2018 collection titled “American, Also.” The critically acclaimed New York-based designer, Kerby Jean-Raymond showcased the unisex pieces during his New York Fashion Week presentation.
The pieces follow a Western theme, which exemplifies the direct inspiration from the seldom spotlighted history of black cowboys from the 19th century. Western detailing is seen with the use of patchwork and the wide-legged trousers.
The partnership is spearheaded by a singular white jacket. Though this design isn’t available at the moment, it was created as a runner jacket with a panel in the middle spelling out “Reebok Pyer Moss Fall Winter 2018-19.” Another outerwear selection is the boxy hoodie which has a “AS USA AS U” graphic. Additional standouts in the capsule include the Archive crewneck in “White” and the cropped hoodie in “Wild Khaki.” The former comes with patches throughout the design while the other pick includes stitching on the front with a large graphic on the front.
