The Sneaker Edit: Our Favorite FW18 Picks From Nike, Vans & More
Start the new year on the right foot.
As we prepare to head into a new year, it’s time for style enthusiasts to start thinking about what aesthetics they’d like to follow. In this week’s installment of “The Sneaker Edit,” we’re sharing the top on-trend sneakers ideal for starting a new footwear lineup. The editor-approved options feature colorful designs and tonal alternatives. An array of options in our roundup include pieces from Nike, Off-White™ and Vans to name a few.
Our favorite silhouette of the week is the Air Jordan 10 NRG “Court Lux” created in collaboration with WNBA player Maya Moore. For the red, blue and purple colorway the world renowned star was inspired by the jerseys she has worn throughout her career. Detailing also includes a suede upper paired with the Minnesota Lynx‘s logo on the insole.
Additional trendy picks are the Vans Vault 5×5 releases. For a collaborative capsule, the footwear company has teamed up with a few retailers. The featured models were created with Bows and Arrows, Slam Jam, Antwerp Vier, WORKSOUT and Notre.
The Bows and Arrows x Vans Sk8 Hi LX features a multi-colored Jazz Stripe alongside an all-black colorway, while the Slam Jam x Vans Era LX comes in the shop’s beloved colors fused with a checkerboard design. Up next is the Vier x Slip-On LX trainer which was constructed with palm trees and tiger print. We’re also into the WORKSOUT x Vans OG Authentic LX, which is created in 3M reflective material in black. Lastly, the Old Skool trainer was reimagined by Notre with a “Grey/Green” colorway alongside a white sole unit.
