The Martine Rose x Nike Collab Is Dropping on Craigslist – Here's Your First Look
This is not a drill.
You may already be aware that alongside Yoon and Sarah Andelman, British designer Martine Rose is releasing a collaboration with Nike. What you probably didn’t know is that this special-edition collection will be launching on Craigslist in London. That’s right, the weird and wonderful classifieds platform will be the first place eager fans can cop this highly-anticipated line.
Speaking to Vogue, Rose shared more information on the pieces in the collection, stating “We took a silhouette based on a very British tracksuit that you might get in JD Sports. Then, we created a trainer inspired by Nike’s Monarch style, which is a very middle-America-dad trainer.”
The result is a vintage-inspired track sets, a silky blue T-shirt reminiscent of retro football shirts and of course, the ever-chunky Nike Air Monarch that seems to appear in two color options; all-pink and one that’s similar to the original in navy blue and white with Martine Rose’s signature on the lateral side. The range will be partly available from three hand-picked London Craigslist sellers soon, before a general release next year – get a closer look a the pieces above and stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, why not revisit our interview with Martine Rose?
