The Nike Air Max 1 Gets Chic Jewel Details on the Swoosh Logo and Tongue Tag
Arriving in black, pink and cream.
Having just dropped in a cool “University Blue” colorway, Nike now returns with three dazzling new reworks of the beloved Air Max 1. For these latest iterations, the sportswear giant reinvents the Swoosh logos on the side panels with giant jewel elements. Similar to the iridescent effect seen on the recent sunset-inspired Air Force 1, the latest jewel details also boast an eye-catching gleam.
For both the obsidian black and millennial pink versions, the Swoosh jewel is rendered with a subtle ombre palette comprised of clear white and blue-grey tones. For the black pair however, the jewel segment on the tongue tag exhibits shifting copper and yellow tones, which complement the sneaker’s baby blue outsole. In contrast, the pink pair showcases a translucent white tongue tag jewel, as well as a color-matching blush outsole that coordinates with the shoe’s overall hue.
Lastly, the cream colorway highlights the most distinct jewel of the trio, with this particular emblem infused with plenty of glitter on both the side panel Swoosh and the tongue tag. A pastel peach outsole rounds off the look.
You can shop all three colorways of the jeweled Air Max 1 now at Nike.com, where it retails for $130 USD.
