Here's Your First Look at Nike's Y2K-Themed Air Max Pack

The Air Max 95 and 270 get a futuristic makeover.

Nike has teased images of the upcoming “Y2K” pack which includes the Air Max 95 and Air Max 270. Both Air Max silhouettes have a black base with silver tones referencing the future of footwear technology.

The photos above showcase the iridescent detailing on the uppermost “wave” of the AM 95. A glossy leather material is used to cover the rest of the upper which sits atop a steel gray midsole. The AM 270 is similarly designed with silver Swooshes on the lateral and its signature transparent Air Max unit. Both pairs are perfect for winter wear and can be styled with just about anything.

The  ”Y2K” Air Max pack is scheduled to release on January 1 on nike.com and other select retailers. Mark your calendar for the drop and be sure to check out our interview with Nike’s design director on the brand’s Spring 2019 tech pack.
