Axel Arigato Has Debuted the New Chunky Sneaker You Need in Your Rotation

The Tech Runner is dropping in six colorways.

Swedish sneaker brand Axel Arigato is known for bringing its Scandi-style sensibility to clean, minimal footwear but the label is kicking off 2018 with a brand new silhouette that’s one of it’s most striking to date.

The unisex Tech Runner is Axel Arigato’s unique take on the dad sneaker trend that shows no signs of becoming less popular this year. The futuristic, chunky shoe is handcrafted in Portugal and the upper is constructed from panels of premium leather, suede and breathable mesh. Available in six colorways – pink, grey, off white/iridescent, white, white/iridescent and black, the bold silhouette is rounded off with hiking cord-style laces and a bulky, sculptured sole.

Peep the campaign above – you can cop these beauts from February 8 for £225 GBP (approx. $314 USD) at axelarigato.com and in its London and Stockholm stores. They’ll be coming to HBX soon too – stay tuned for a closer look.
