Here Are the Best Looks From Gucci's Fall/Winter 2018 Show
Is that a dragon?
Gucci‘s Fall/Winter 2018 show was a sight to behold. Alessandro Michele merged streetwear elements with workwear, creating his own fantastical uniform. Items like the blazer, overcoat and even mules are stamped with the New York Yankees’ insignia, marrying Americana with European cuts and silhouettes. There was no lack of color or patterns either as each garment was carefully weaved into a look that combined norm-core with high fashion. Live animal props added a bit of the bizarre on the runway where we saw a baby dragon, lizard and red-striped snake. To complete the outfits, a range of footwear was debuted including a bejeweled hiking sneaker.
