Joey Bada$$ Teams up With EV BRAVADO for a Collaboration and Pop-Up
Slick Woods also helps “Make Amerikkka Suck Again.”
Following his Paris pop-up with Heron Preston, emerging designer EV BRAVADO now teams up with Joey Bada$$ for a new collection. Inspired by the rapper’s recent All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ studio album, the forthcoming range has at its epicenter the theme, “Make Amerikkka Suck Again (MASA).” Modelled by Joey Bada$$ himself, the lookbook also stars none other than Slick Woods. Together, the pair are seen wearing the collaboration that includes an array of sweatshirts, hoodies, tactical vests, EV BRAVADO’s signature denim and cargo pants. Adding a touch of ’90s details, all pieces are “iced”out with rhinestones.
For the collaboration’s upcoming pop-up in New York, the designer will be introducing an interactive element by encouraging guests to bring their own garments for an in-store customization experience. By gaining firsthand experience of the collection’s creative process, visitors can fully immerse themselves into the creation of the collaborative capsule. The cherry on top is that the workshop will be hosted by Joey Bada$$ and EV BRAVADO themselves.
You can view the full lookbook above. If you happen to be in-town on February 10, make sure to check out the pop-up.
