Your Childhood Dreams Will Come True With This SpongeBob SquarePants x Vans Collection
Welcome to Bikini Bottom.
Vans is pretty well known for its quirky collaborations, like their collection with Peanuts that dropped last year. This time, the brand is going back to the cartoon universe once more with a SpongeBob SquarePants drop.
That’s right, Nickelodeon‘s beloved sea sponge will be appearing on a capsule collection alongside some of Bikini Bottom’s other loveable residents. The Sk8-Hi, Authentic and Slip-Ons will all receive a nostalgic touch, with characters adorning the sidewalls and uppers of six different sneakers and in true SpongeBob fashion, Plankton appears on squashed on the bottom of Vans’ signature waffle sole.
Alongside footwear, there will also be a line of complementary apparel released, comprising of T-shirts and track pants and rounding off the collection are three limited-run skate decks that incorporate the patterns seen in the collection.
The SpongeBob SquarePants x Vault by Vans collection launches on February 24 and will retail from $45 to $260 USD at select Vault accounts and at Dover Street Market, which will be showcasing unique, in-store displays.
