Taste the Rainbow: We Team up With Nicoline Aagesen for an adidas Tracksuit Editorial
Find out how to style the ultimate ’90s uniform.
Known for her provocative pictures and striking image narratives, Denmark-born photographer Nicoline Aagesen has established herself in Hong Kong as a daring lenswoman since moving to the city seven years ago. Operating under her moniker, My Camera My Rules, Aagesen is known for her often explicit images that explore sexuality and youth in its rawest forms. Inspired by the red adidas tracksuit that she is often seen donning in self-portraits and interviews alike, we now work with the photographer herself in an editorial that pays homage to the Three Stripes tracksuit, interpreted in the manner of HYPEBAE.
The images are captured against the backdrop of Hong Kong’s renowned Choi Hung Estate. From a historic standpoint, it is already famous as one of the city’s oldest public housing estates. However, the development is more widely known as one of HK’s most photogenic spots. With each building painted in beautiful pastel shades, the multi-colored basketball court situated in the centre of the building complexes only underscores the stunning vibrancy of Choi Hung Estate.
Along with the adidas Originals pieces, we also incorporate items from X-Girl and MISBHV to complete the looks. Browse through the full editorial in the gallery above.
