SZA's 'CTRL' Album Has Officially Gone Platinum

Congratulations are in order.

SZA has been having a great 2018. It was recently announced that her debut album, CTRL, has just gone platinum to join her her lead singles “Love Galore” and “The Weekend,” both of which are certified double platinum by RIAA. Though the “What Lovers Do” singer left the 2018 Grammys empty-handed after securing five nods as the most-nominated woman at the award show that didn’t stop her ongoing momentum.

“Broken Clocks” and “Garden (Say It Like Dat)” have also been certified as gold status, making this one of the most successful R&B debuts in recent memory. Her collaborative Black Panther track “All the Stars” with label mate Kendrick Lamar is also rising on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart so we’re sure that there is more good news to come. Be sure to check out SZA’s recent wins in the fashion industry including a Gap and Jordan brand campaign.
