An Insider's Look at Under Armour's Futuristic HOVR™ Phantom

Providing the ultimate performance experience.

Under Armour has tapped visual artist Zhestkov to provide an in-depth perspective of its dynamic runner, the UA HOVR™ Phantom. Beginning with the very fibers of the sneaker we watch as each innovative feature is developed thread by thread.

Its sole is constructed from a durable rubber that allows for the wearer to optimize traction and flex – a key feature for athletes. Under Armour’s proprietary UA HOVR™ cushioning system aids the runner’s stride and provides a kinetic return with each step. Connected sensors embedded in the sole are compatible with the MapMyRun app allowing for automatic tracking of each run — no phone or wearable device needed. The upper also features a blend of knitted materials that serve to secure and support the foot. Finally, Speedform 2.0 with a molded “chamois” surrounds the foot in layers of uncompressed foam delivering lateral comfort.

Watch the captivating clip above and be sure to pick up a pair of the newest UA HOVR™ Phantom colorways at Under Armour’s site on March 16.
